Always been a fan of the Gears of War series, and the third game ties up the trilogy brilliant. A polished, well refined game, with excellent graphics and tight gameplay. It also has immense replayability through all its online features. This is the first game where I’ve truly gotten into the online multiplayer side of things. I’m still playing the game to this day and I suspect I’ll be playing plenty more of it for weeks to come. A must have for any Xbox gamer, along with its predecessors.

Zombies. Lots of zombies. My first properly foray into online co-op multiplayer was with this game, and it’s pretty fun. You really need to work together in order to get through the levels. It was frustrating at times, but overall a good game.

The original was a great puzzle game, and this one steps it up another notch. With a decent narrative this time it was good fun and a nice mind bending. The additional of the online co-op was the icing on the cake.

I absolutely loved the original Dead Space, so I was very much looking forward to this game. While the notion of just a whole lot more of the same would not have been something I would have expected to have a problem with, I kind of did. I couldn’t help but think that since this game, like its predecessor doesn’t really bring anything original to the mix, but rather executes well worn game mechanics very well, seeing it again with very little innovation left me a little underwhelmed.

I would have liked for them to really build on the great original game, but aside from some faster movement, there really wasn’t all that much more to it. Still a great game though.

I always like me some Halo. Without meaning to make it sound like a bad thing, Halo: Reach is pretty much just a whole lot more of Halo. That’s cool. More of a good thing is fine by me.
